Have you ever felt really inspired to work with the Law of Attraction by making a vision board, using manifesting rituals and allowing your heart to dream your wildest dreams?

You feel so energized and excited by life and the possibilities that you’re open to receiving. You might be wanting to attract more money, a soulmate, a baby, a massive opportunity and the list goes on…

And then it happens….

The doubt sets in. The fear rises up. The pessimism rears her ugly head. The buzz of inspiration flatlines.

Negative thoughts are a perfectly normal and essential part of the creation process but most people don’t understand this occurrence and how to use it to their advantage.

Your thoughts do something that is perfectly natural and yet we don’t see it as part of the ‘happy happy, joy joy’ energy associated with manifesting. We make ourselves wrong for teetering over to negativity momentarily and then pull the proverbial plug on the whole notion of desiring a better life for ourselves.

We sabotage the vibrational progress as we are being tested by the Universe. We essentially allow the resistance to win.

As soon as the tiniest speck of resistance appears, it seems to spread like a virus. The famous wordsmith William Shakespeare wrote:

“Our doubts are traitors,
and make us lose the good we oft might win,
by fearing to attempt.”

But what if we cultivated the awareness to stand back and allow our doubts and our fears to be expressed without feeling like they are sabotaging our manifesting efforts? What if we allowed them to just BE and we didn’t charge them with emotion or wrongness?

Don’t cancel your cosmic order.

Instead of sabotaging yourself or seeing seeming failure as a bad thing I want you to remember this quote (which is one of my all-time faves from Florence Shovel Shinn)

“Every great work, every great accomplishment, has been brought into manifestation through holding to the vision, and often just before the big achievement, comes apparent failure and discouragement.”

Remember: this whole manifesting thing is a game. The final and most important piece of the alignment process is to fully commit energetically. Trust me, you will be offered multiple opportunities to give up until you fully understand the cosmic mechanisms that are playing their role to test you.

So next time you start to doubt yourself or your ability to call in your desires, remember that this realm we currently live in is just a mere echo of what has already happened and unfolded vibrationally. Your job is to align with those desires, remove the blocks and be present in each moment, because that is really all that exists.
